Why are Fromental samples loaned?
Our bespoke samples are created entirely by hand by our artists, often using time-intensive techniques such as hand-painting and embroidery. Because of this, availability is limited. Our sample loan service allows clients to experience the craftsmanship first-hand while ensuring these pieces can continue to be shared.
How long can I keep a sample?
Bespoke samples are loaned for four weeks from the date of dispatch.
How should samples be handled?
We kindly ask that all samples are treated with care and returned in the condition in which they were received. Samples should not be folded, cut, annotated, taped, pinned, or pierced in any way.
Can I extend my loan period?
Yes. If you require additional time, please contact your Fromental sales representative, who will be happy to advise and assist where possible.
Can I purchase samples for my library?
Yes. Samples may be purchased to retain for future reference.
Pricing typically ranges from £30–£130 ($50–$175) per sample, depending on the production techniques involved. Samples that require many hours of hand-painting or hand-embroidery may be priced at the higher end of this range.

How do I return samples?
When returning loaned samples, please include your packing list and ensure all items are securely packaged. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client.
