Fromental Service Levels Explained
The information below outlines the differences between our service levels, helping you choose the approach that best suits your project. If you have any questions about service levels, please enquire through the website or contact a Fromental sales representative directly for further advice - we would be happy to help.
Tailored
Our recommended option for the most considered result.
Tailored designs are adapted to your space, taking into account room layout, architectural features, and more complex areas such as staircases. This allows us to refine composition, placement, and panel joins so the final result feels cohesive and intentional.
What this includes
-
Designed specifically to suit your space and elevations
-
Ideal for complex layouts and rooms with multiple breaks or returns
-
Tailoring service fee applies (shown as a percentage in your estimate)
-
Considered panel seaming
-
No restrictions for embroidery
-
Customisations available on request
- Formal quote based on submitted elevations
-
Minimum Order Value will apply

Standard Run
A streamlined option designed to move quickly into production.
Standard Runs are produced in a predefined format and are not adapted to your room layout or elevations. You’ll still receive the same craftsmanship and design integrity, just without spatial tailoring.
What this includes
-
Fixed, predetermined design heights
-
A simple, straightforward service with no additional approvals
-
A faster route to production — ideal if you’re working to a tighter timeline
-
No spatial tailoring or compositional adjustments
-
The installer will establish the optimal starting position to best conceal any pattern mismatch between the first and last panel
-
Quoted and produced as full panels only based on room perimeter
- No additional service fees

Customisation
Looking to customise your design?
Many of our designs can be customised to suit your colour palette and creative preferences. Because this involves additional design development, customised projects are handled through our Tailored service and are not available as Standard Runs.
Embroidery
A quick note on embroidered designs.
We don’t recommend heavy embroidery for Standard Run orders, as embroidered sections may need trimming during installation, which can increase the risk of fraying.
For embroidered designs, Tailored is usually the best fit.
Commissioned
Our commissioned design service is suited to projects where requirements extend beyond the scope of the standard collections, particularly within commercial and hospitality environments.
Clients may commission an entirely new design or work with us to adapt and develop one of our existing bespoke wallcoverings for commercial use. Whether responding to a detailed brief or an early-stage concept, our studio guides the process from design development through to final production.
