How to Measure Walls for Wallpaper
Measuring your walls accurately is crucial for determining how much wallpaper you’ll need. Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure you get the right measurements, especially if you are considering one of our panoramic wallpapers.
Materials Needed:
- Measuring tape
- Pencil
- Paper or notepad
- Calculator (optional)
- Ladder (if needed for high walls)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Measure the Perimeter:
- Start by measuring the length of each wall.
- Use the measuring tape and extend it from one corner to the next.
- Record the length of each wall on your notepad.
2. Calculate the Perimeter:
- Add the lengths of all walls together to find the total perimeter.
3. Measure the Wall Height:
- Measure from the floor to the ceiling at multiple points on the wall to ensure accuracy.
- If you have skirting or cornicing do not include this in your measurement
- Tip: If the height varies, use the highest height for your calculations.
4. Input your Values:
