Dynasty Peonies doesn't ask permission. Oversized blooms spill across every panel in a riot of colour that pushes — deliberately — just past the point of polite decoration. The design carries two references simultaneously: the classical Chinese language of the peony, symbolising wealth, prosperity and honour, and the unapologetic glamour of 1980s couture. Shoulder pads in floral form.
This is maximalism handled with precision. Scale and colour are pushed to the edge where indulgence tips into something genuinely intoxicating. Dynasty Peonies is a performance.
