As described above, we use your personal information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For example:

Lawful basis

Performance of a Contract/Service: we will use your personal information to allow us to provide services. This information is likely to include your name, contact details and payment details, information about your business and any additional information we may need to help meet your specific requirements. If you do not provide us with the information set out in this paragraph, then we may not be able to provide you with the products and/or services you have ordered.

Legitimate Interest: we may use your name and contact details to tell you about our own products and services which we think may be of interest to you. You can ask us to stop doing so at any time. We also rely on legitimate interests to analyse usage of our online estimation tools, to improve their accuracy and performance, and to follow up on enquiries where a user has requested further contact.

Consent: we may ask your consent to share your name and contact details with selected third parties so that they can tell you about their products and services. If you agree, we may also pass on your information, in certain cases, for the purposes of conducting a credit check. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Information collected through our estimation tools is retained only for as long as necessary to evaluate usage, respond to enquiries, and support legitimate business and sales activities.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

The length of time that a cookie remains on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a “persistent” or “session” cookie. Session cookies last until you stop browsing and persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted. Most of the cookies we use are persistent and will expire between 30 minutes and two years from the date they are downloaded to your device.

In addition to cookies, we also collect basic data with Google Consent mode for all users, limited to device type, conversion type, time of day and country.

Managing cookies

You can change your cookie preferences any time by clicking the 'Cookie Preferences' button in the footer. This will let you revisit the cookie consent banner and change your preferences or withdraw your consent right away. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking cookies can negatively impact your user experience and parts of our website may no longer be fully accessible.

In addition to this, different browsers provide different methods to block and delete cookies used by websites. You can often find these by reviewing your browser’s “Tools” or “Preferences” menu.

Additionally, please note that blocking cookies may not completely prevent how we share information with third parties such as our advertising partners. To exercise your rights or opt-out of certain uses of your information by these parties, please follow the instructions in the “Behavioural Advertising” section above.

Third-Party links

Our website links to third party sites which we do not operate or endorse. These websites may use cookies and collect your personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
