  • Travertine reminds us that sometimes, the most beautiful creations are born from the unexpected. Co-founder and Design Director Lizzie Deshayes was experimenting with metallic paints when inspiration struck by accident. As she wiped her paintbrush on a linen cloth, the subtle streaks left behind resembled the intricate veining of natural stone.

    What began as a simple, unplanned gesture evolved into “Travertine”-a design that captures the raw elegance of nature with its shimmering texture and earthy tones. The brushed and layered effect is created using washes of iridescent metallic paints on silk.
