This design reimagines Fromental’s core chinoiserie style, embellishing the cherry blossom grove with Goop’s own mythical symbols of transformation. From birds and woodland creatures to medicinal herbs like cannabis and mushrooms, there is a huge amount of allegory within the objects in the design. The hummingbird resembles healing and joy, the butterfly is hope and transformation and the doves bring peace and love. Layered with the true healing power of the various vegetation and plant life found in the designs, every detail has been placed deliberately and thoughtfully to conjure a sense of magic and evolution.
