Bruyere

Mauveine

A tonal colourway with hues true to its name, Mauveine is a festival of pale purples, the warmth of the iridescent gold in the grass detail lending a subtle warmth.

A richly layered tapestry of form and colour, where mid-century abstraction and Japanese Edo-era elegance converge.

  • Bold, dramatic and maximal, Bruyère blends the abstract and figurative in its rich, multi-dimensional detail. Inspired by both the phenomenal mid-century tapestries of Jean Lurçat and the stunning aesthetic of Japanese Edo era screens, it offers a luxuriously abundant scene for a style-defining interior. Bruyère is entirely hand-painted on silk using a colour blocking technique to mimic the beautiful constraints of tapestry design.
