A serene composition where koi drift among floating lotus leaves, their movement mirrored in the silk’s lustrous, rippling surface.
Koi ponds have long been symbols of repose and good fortune. Within this show-stopping composition, carp move languidly amongst floating lotus leaves; a serene moon is reflected as the focal point of the design.
The koi carp lend a subtle feeling of life and movement, their whiskers, fins and scales rendered in fine detail. The lustre of the silk mimics the effect of rippling water, giving a sense of calm to the composition.
