Inspired by 18th-century French lacquer work, Foliage depicts delicate curved branches and leaves surrounded by birds and butterflies.
Each motif is contained within its own panel, which gives a unique rhythm to the design.
Foliage is hand-painted on our Buckskin ground to give a rich, mottled effect similar to rare wood veneers, fine leather and parchment. Details of the insects, birds and leaves are highlighted in relief.
